Late Night at the V&A - The Secret Life of Furniture.

Had a wonderful time exploring the treasures in the V&A tonight.  How much patience has V&A Conservator Chris Gingell got….teaching so many people how to make a Carpenter’s Cap…over…and…over again!  Such great fun.

THE ENGLISH HOME MAGAZINE - FEBRUARY 2013.

The Traces London guys have got lots of interesting press floating around.  Wonderland Magazine interviewed the two organizers Talulah Mason and Donna Walker about the concept behind the TRACES LONDON exhibition….take a look, click on the Traces London Exhibition Title.

The build up for the Traces London Exhibition is almost as exciting as the Olympics!

Really great article here by Design week.  We get a little mention which is always nice.

Private view this Thurs, and the show runs Fri 17th August to Sun 19th August 2012 at:

The Marquis of Lansdowne, 32 Cremer Street, Hoxton, London E2.

For more info, check out the TRACES LONDON website:

Debbie Lowndes is excited to be taking part in the TRACES LONDON exhibition this August 17-19th.  Part of the Shoreditch Fringe and in collaboration with Designersblock.

Debbie is even more thrilled that a LOW weather front is coming in, so she won’t have to upholster in such scorchio conditions!  No panic going on at all….nooooo, everything is all going tickerty boo!

As well as the link above, you can find even more information at the TRACES LONDON website….or if you’re really modern and hip you can join them on Twitter…

Another great show at Dulwich Craft Fair yesterday with a good variety of chairs to suit all bottoms.  From Parker Knolls revamped with lovely upholstery and plump cushions to Lloyd Loom with quirky ‘London’ fabric print, bistro chairs, Victorian Iron Back chairs, piano stools, Ercol and a 1950s Danish chair covered in fabulous Bute fabric.

Thanks to everyone who supported us…..next one will be November.

Now we’ve recovered (haha) from the Dulwich Festival Artists Open House event…..we’re ready for this weekends Dulwich Craft Fair - Saturday 23rd June - 10am to 5pm at St Barnabas Church Hall, Dulwich Village, London SE21.
Eight of us will be taking part in this event so we’ll have something for everyone, to accommodate all price levels!
We look forward to seeing you there…
